Boards/Councils
The Advisory Council on Diversity considers long-term policy and planning, strategic directions, and efficacy of implementation concerning issues of diversity. The Council reviews programs and practices that promote diversity, inclusion, and fair treatment of all members of the University community and consists of ex-officio members from other relevant councils. The council is made up of at least 15 members who are appointed by the President for staggered terms of three years each, beginning July 1 and ending June 30. The chair is designated biennially by the President.
The Advisory Council on Diversity is led by the Vice President for Institutional Equity and Diversity.
